Meet Moné
Moné is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker committed to people’s growth and healing. She earned her Master in Social Work and Master in Legal Studies from The University of Denver.
Moné uses an anti-oppressive, anti-racist lens in her therapeutic practice. She works with both individuals and couples who are experiencing trauma and difficulties in relationships. When working with individuals she enjoys attachment work, identity, and cultural exploration, and discussing things that clients haven’t had the space to explore before. She’s guided couples in premarital counseling, family planning, identifying communication strategies, exploring identity and culture, processing mental health diagnoses and challenges, and working through addiction while helping deepen their relationship. She works with clients who want to process their psychedelic experiences. She uses Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT) and a person-centered approach to help clients achieve their therapeutic goals.
Moné’s approach is conversational, person-centered and trauma-informed. Therapy has been an affirming and wonderful place to grow and heal for her personally, and she knows that it will be for you, too.
Moné was born in Austin and now resides in Phoenix where she calls the desert home. In her free time she enjoys reading, movies, playing records, birding, eating yummy vegan food, and traveling.
